Andy Rachlin is the President of Spring Garden Capital Group, managing a $150 million fund focused on financing urban infill housing in the mid-Atlantic, primarily backing projects that promote naturally occurring affordable living and support minority real estate entrepreneurs. Since joining in 2022, Andy has doubled the fund’s assets under management, successfully raised $25 million from impact investors, and led the firm through its acquisition by a large regional financial institution.

Previously, Andy held roles at Reinvestment Fund, where he oversaw both its $200 million annual origination function and its $80 million Registered Investment Advisor subsidiary, and served in key public sector positions in both Philadelphia and New York. He also teaches at the University of Pennsylvania and actively participates in several community-focused boards. Andy’s background includes degrees from St. Andrews University and Princeton University.
