Donors can give a stated dollar amount, a specific property, a percentage of their estate, the remainder after distributions to other beneficiaries, or make a gift contingent on certain events.

Bequests & Will Writing

Ensure Donor Intent: The Philadelphia Foundation helps donors craft language they can use in their wills to establish a new fund or add to an existing one. A review of the fund’s purpose in advance will allow us to determine how we can legally and practically fulfill the request.
Preserve Confidentiality: Whatever information donors choose to share with us will be held in the strictest confidence, and names can be kept anonymous if the donor chooses.
