Applications for Fall 2025 scholarships are now closed.

Each year, Philadelphia Foundation awards more than 200 scholarships from funds we manage.

The Philadelphia Foundation is now using a Common Scholarship Application.  Each scholarship applicant is required to complete ONE application in order to be considered for multiple scholarships. Students will be required to complete one or more essay questions based on their responses.

The Common Scholarship Application may be completed by graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate students. Most of our scholarships require that you be a resident of the Greater Philadelphia region (which includes Burlington and Camden counties in New Jersey and Bucks, Chester, Montgomery, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania). However, if you attend an HBCU, we have a scholarship for any U.S. resident of any state.

Eligible applicants are as followed:

• Must be accepted or enrolled at an accredited college or university (scholarships will cover four-year college programs, two-year programs and or vocational or technical training)
• Must demonstrate financial need
